What are you going to be doing?

Will work with a variety of equipment types and procedures. A list of duties all welder-divers should be able to perform includes:

  • Underwater cutting
  • Lay out, position, align and secure parts for welding.
  • Underwater photography
  • Drafting
  • Inspection and non-destructive testing
  • Fitting and rigging
  • Project Planning

Which requirements do you need to meet?

  • Recent Offshore Construction experience
  • Prior Structural Fabrication experience preferred
  • Experience using safe work habits
  • Valid TWIC card
  • Able-bodied Seaman Certificate up to date
  • Passport*

*Must have a current passport (not less than 3-months to expiration) and be willing to travel for training or work assignments as needed.

The Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC®, is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who access secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. Clean Ocean Initiative’s facilities is a MARSEC secure area, which issues the TWIC card as a mandatory requirement to work in our facilities. To receive a TWIC card, TSA conducts a security threat assessment (background check) to determine a person’s eligibility and issues the credential. For more information visit .
